Timothy Stilb '84

After attending the University of Arizona, Timothy J. (Tim) Stilb, began his insurance career when he joined his father’s agency Stilb & Associates in 1984. John R. (Jack) Stilb established the firm in 1945 and was part of the National Life Insurance Company, Montpelier, Vermont General Agency family for over 60 years. After Jack retired as General Agent in 1988, Tim became the Assistant General Agent for the Arizona Agency. In 1990 Tim made the decision to pursue his passion as a career agent. For the next six years, Jack and Tim worked together to continually expand its market presence throughout the Tucson business community until 1997 when Jack was forced to retire due to poor health. Now Tim and his wife Ana, with the invaluable assistance of Renee Osmanoff, carry on Jack’s legacy.

A native of Tucson, Tim and his family have been active in the community for a generation. Over the years Tim has served as President of Tucson Horizons, President of St. Joseph School Endowment Foundation, President of the Tucson Conquistadores Foundation, Tournament Chairman of the 2001 Touchstone Energy Tucson Open, President of the Tucson Country Club, President of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Education Foundation, Board member of the Sister Kathleen Clark Foundation, member of the Agency Advisor Committee for NL Financial Alliance, and Tournament Chairman of the Men’s 20/20 Club.
