Dana Wells ’89

Brother Dana Wells joined Arizona Beta in 1985 and graduated in 1989 with a Business degree. During his time at Arizona, he played football and became an All American player, Pac-10 Player of the Year and twice a Morris Award winner recipient. He went on to play two years in the NFL for Cincinnati Bengals and Phoenix Cardinals. He is still actively involved with the Arizona football program and travels to most home/away games.

Currently Dana serves as the President of CBS Outdoor. “CBS Outdoor delivers an unsurpassed variety of campaign advertising media including Billboard advertising, Transit and Street Furniture advertising, Digital advertising, Mobile advertising and much, much more.” He has been with the company for over 20 years and moved up from sales, sales management, Region VP, then to his current positions as President in 2007. He is also actively involved with the community by serving on the Board of Directors for TAB and OAAA, Big Brother for Boys and Girls Club and a Member NLC.

Brother Wells is engaged to Kristina Giordano and they live in Phoenix, Arizona. His tow brothers, Jon ’95 and Michael ’98 are also proud Arizona Betas.

Dana says, “Life long friendships that were developed at Arizona Beta, was part of my development as a student athlete. It also helped me develop my discipline, focus, and passion to overachieve on and off the football field.”
